GREEN and LILLOOET RIVERS

A short scenic drive north from Whistler to Pemberton on the Ranch Shuttle bus brings guests to the Adventure Ranch riverside base.
The Green and Lillooet are natural free flowing streams without artificial control. During low to medium water levels found in early and late season the lower Lillooet is at it's best. Green River is most impressive at higher levels when snowmelt from surrounding Coast Range mountains is at it's summertime peak. We schedule tours to coincide with seasonal fluctuations.

GREEN RIVER "THRILLER

Situated between Whistler and Pemberton in the Green River canyon is spectacular Nairn Falls. Carved over 10,000 years by glacial melt water this 180 ft. drop is one of the areas most scenic attractions.

From our floating , wheelchair accessible dock at the Adventure Ranch base we board the tour boats. Cruising the calm sections of river beautiful west coast forest surrounds us with Mt. Currie towering overhead. Ascending upriver towards the Canyon, the roar of whitewater rapids replace calm water to a final turn around point near the base of Nairn Falls. After a quick photo op it's time to hang on tight for the down river descent. A thrill per nanosecond!!

The “Gold Rusher”

Adventure waits at Whistler's doorstep with the Gold Rusher Tour . Imagine sitting in a jet boat surrounded by miles of pristine wilderness, following the original route taken by fortune seeking pioneers of the 1860's. Guides eagerly point out traditional fishing camps and wildlife. Excitement builds as you cross Lillooet Lake on your way to the heart pounding rapids of the lower Lillooet River. Your only job is to hold on through numerous rapids such as the “Green Monster.”

Duration: Three hours / 110 km on water.
